I took over the art editing, design, and layout for lumens, the bimonthly BC/Yukon Mensa newsletter, last November. The new content editor and writer, John Roebuck, and I decided we wanted to encourage members to opt out of the printed version and receive a pdf via email. For the second issue, based on a reader recommendation, I decided to send out a color pdf.

I couldn’t leave the paper info on the pdf (it no longer applied), and I didn’t want to leave the area blank; so I went on an internet hunt for an icon. I’m sure there’s something out there, but I sure couldn’t find it; so I made one up. I call it Tree Heart (creative, hey?). Feel free to use for your own stuff!
